10) Visit the ruins:
Hampi ruins are ruins of Vijayanagara, the former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire. It continues to be an important religious centre, housing the Virupaksha Temple, as well as several other monuments belonging to the old city. The ruins are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Visit my Photo Diary: Monuments at Hampi.
9) Stay by the rice fields and river:
We stayed at the Mowgli Guesthouse which was Rs 3600 for 3 nights, which was an amazing price during New Years 2015 for a cottage for two along the rice paddies and you are guaranteed a beautiful view of the sunset from a swinging porch bed outside.
8) Film screenings:
If you spot a movie you like or one you’ve never seen before playing at a cafe near you, you should go! Great way to relax, take a break and meet new people.
7) Graffiti Spotting:
A walk down the main market street and beyond will you chance to glance upon graffiti by international artist from all over the world. While you may not understand or get most signature signs, they are still fun to admire.
